Child and Adolescent Therapy
We have experience in providing support for children with special needs, including mild to moderate autism, ADHD, anxiety, mood dysregulation, oppositional behaviors, medical trauma, developmental trauma, and managing change in phase of life.
We believe in honoring children and focus on providing a secure space to process, address worries/fears and behavioral issues that are impacting child functioning at home, school and in social settings. As well as providing adolescents with the support to address current extracurricular activities, sports enhancement capabilities/blocks, academic, social and familial stressors impacting mood and anxiety during this stage of life.

At times parenting can be challenging. Che Ajal therapists are here to assist in developing and supporting healthy child and caregiver attachment. Strong attachment between the child and the important adults in their life has long been believed to be the basis of lifelong good mental health as well as the mainstay of resilience in the face of adversity.
